Successful Girls'Day 2023 at Hellma

Young talents of tomorrow explored our world of technology

After the publication of our Girls'Day offer, the available places were booked up within a very short time. A group of motivated girls aged 11 to 14 from various cities and communities signed up and experienced an unique day with us.
 
We started the day with a warm welcome and getting to know each other. An introduction to the company was followed by a production tour, during which the girls were able to get to know the individual departments and try out different activities. Afterwards, the girls were able to get to know one of their chosen technical fields of activity better and explore them together with our Hellma experts from the respective areas.
 
Some girls worked on machines and made their own mill game, others created a glass cube. Three of the girls developed their own business idea with our business development experts and tested it in an initial market analysis. In the development department, key fobs were designed in the CAD program and then 3D printed. Thus, the participants had a nice memory of their exciting Girls Day at Hellma.
 
Over the day, we could observe how the girls literally blossomed. They gained valuable experience and were able to discover their skills and interests without prejudice. It was inspiring to see how they immersed themselves in the world of technology with great enthusiasm.
 
Girls' Day thus helped to open new perspectives and arouse girls' interest in various technical professions and was thus a complete success.
