Laser-integrated ATEX Raman probe

Opening new horizons for users and manufacturers: The Tidus Lumio is an ATEX-compliant Raman probe for process environments which comes with an integrated laser light source. It is connected to a spectrophotometer for receiving the signal and transforming it into measurement data similar to standard probes. A system set up with an explosion-proof Raman spectrometer is not necessary anymore as  the probe can be operated together with almost any Raman spectrometer or even with suitable Vis spectrometers for adequate applications such as qualification purposes.
The Tidus Lumio is also avaiable as a non-ATEX Version.

Raman spectroscopy is a proven measurement technology in a wide range of applications from minerals processing (Oxide, Sulfide, Silicate, Halogen, Sulfate, Carbonate, Phosphate) to polymer applications. Especially the analysis of aqueous solutions as seen in the bioprocessing, food and beverage industry are relevant applications where Raman spectroscopy provides significant advantages over IR and NIR spectroscopic methods as the Raman signal is not overwhelmed with water band signals.
