Hellma Switzerland under new umbrella

IGZ Instruments AG is a company specializing in optical analytics in the laboratory and process markets

The Zumikon-based company Hellma Schweiz AG, a subsidiary of the German Hellma Holding GmbH based in Müllheim, will be under the umbrella of IGZ Instruments AG from January 2021. The Buchs based company will be home to the future business activities of Hellma Switzerland as part of a managed succession.

“Hellma Schweiz AG is a well-known and established business with many renowned customers from the laboratory and process area. This new co-operation fits very well into our strategy and creates significant synergies for both companies,” says Dr. Roland Hagenbucher, designated managing director of Hellma Schweiz AG. The official start of the cooperation is January 1st, 2021. All necessary preparations are underway to ensure a smooth transition. “We are pleased that through this co-operation with IGZ Instruments AG we have found an ideal partner for the further development of Hellma Switzerland. IGZ Instruments has many years of experience with laboratory and process products and maintains an excellent network in the Swiss market,” comments Lutz Mayer, managing partner of Hellma Holding GmbH. The cooperation is expected to have a positive effect on the two companies and their customers. According to a press release from both companies, existing customer contracts will remain in place and advisory competences will be systematically expanded.
