Gladius Beam

For reflectance measurements in applications that require a distance between the probe and the target of interest. The Gladius Beam can be used with virtually any type of spectrometer in the visible or near-infrared range and can measure solid or opaque media at a distance of several centimeters without contact. The unique design of the probe provides the ability to vary the distance and diameter of the measurement spot while effectively minimizing stray light.

Potential Areas of Application:

  • Non-invasive determination of residual moisture

Special Features

  • Optimized for sensitivity and flexibility
  • Sample distance of 25 mm to 100mm
  • Low scattered light
  • Bifurcated 78-fiber bundle
